These are double edged small basswood barksides. They are hand selected for clear faces. These are sliced from winter cut logs and dried in a low temperature kiln. They hold the bark really well.
They are all about eight inches along the grain and between four and six inches across the face. We put ten of these in an eight inch cube box. Most show a pretty parallel bark but a few are tapered or curved a bit.
These work well for pyrography (wood burning) projects. They can also be used for shallow or low relief carving as well.
