These double edged large basswood barksides are hand selected for clear faces. These are sliced from winter cut logs and dried in a low temperature kiln. They hold the bark really well.
They are all about 12 inches along the grain and between eight and eleven inches across the face. We put seven of these in our standard 12x12x6 inch box. Most show a pretty parallel bark but a few are tapered or curved a bit.
These work well for pyrography (wood burning) projects. These can also be used for shallow or low relief carving as well.
